The view is beautiful and one can just sit and soak in the tranquillity for the whole day. The area around the temple is crowded but if you go further away, the crowd gets thinner and thinner. Watersports activity like the banana ride and jet ski are available near the Ganpatipule temple. The beach itself is very serene and you can walk a long distance on the clean soft sand. there are no ships or boat to hinder your view and you can see far and wide ahead. The beach is less commercialised so party-lovers can be disappointed. Ganpatipule is for those who love a peaceful time in a quaint place.

This is another lovely clean beach in the Konkan near Ganpatipule. Loved walking Along the coastline and taking in the pretty sight of the sun going down. This is a beach which is en-route to Ganpati Phule beach. It has White soil with Black soil just underneath it. The neach is full of shells and is usually not very crowded. But as it on tourist route so almost everyone stops here. There are various food stalls here that offer good number of food options. Over all a good beach! *Bhandarpule beach– At a distance of 3.5 km from Ganpatipule Bus Stand, Bhandarpule is one of the most beautiful beaches on the Konkan coast in Maharashtra. Bhandarpule Beach is located between two mountain peaks. It has large seashore of Bhandarpule. The beach is stretches for 2 km and the seaside at Bhandarpule is lined with suru trees. The brilliant bluish green hue of the sea is marvelous. The beach at Bhandarpule is preety calm and less crowded than Ganpatipule. However the sea here is rough and not advisable for swimming. One can get a beautiful view of Ganpatipule Beach and Bhandarpule Beach from the top of the hill before descending to Bhandarpule. There are no activities at the beach and is an ideal place for people seeking and relaxing type

Bijapurkar built the fort of Jahangad, which was built on the bank of the Shastri river in Ratnagiri district. This fort is built on the high hill in the village of Jaigad, on the Arabian Sea coast. This location should be important for the area of focus on the marine area. The three sides are surrounded by sea water. The fort can be reached from the southern Dindi and west thieves of the fort. The 12-acre area is spread over the area and is still in strong condition. The fort is built in the fortresses of the fort. Balakilvad is the main gate. The fort has a strong fortification made of Yamba stone. Tanks are carved on the side of the wall. The fort has a total of 28 bastions and can be looked at by the beauty of the sea. There are some wells, caves and stone pillars in the fort. Jaigad Fort. The Jiggad Harbor, which is located on the side of the fort, is already being traded on business. There is a Karhateswar temple, five kilometers away from the fort. The vehicle goes directly to the temple. This temple has been built on a large rock on the shore. There is a thrilling experience while watching the sea level cliff. At the bottom of the temple there is a continuous spring from Gomuk. From Ratnagiri, it is possible to reach Jalgaon via Ganapa‐ tipul. This distance is 46 kilometers. You can visit Jaigad via the Mumbai-Goa highway via the Nili route.

Jai Vinayak Temple of Ganapati is a newly built temple situated near Kachare village in Ratnagiri. It is 6km away from jaigad fort. The temple is surrounded with the clean and beautifully maintained Garden with flowers and trees. The fresh air and cool environment over there is a relaxing for all the tourists who visit this temple. The temple is built in unique style which is called as Pagoda style of architecture having three layers of roof. The main Ganesh idol is made of brass and craving with a expression of idol. Other idols are also found there which are bronze coated, 6 feet tall Lord Hanuman statue and Mushik. There is pond built which consists of various fishes. Hedvi is more known for the Dashabhuja Ganpati temple which is located on the main Guhagar – Tavsal road a small hill top . Hedvi beach is locared about two kilometers from the Dashabhuja Ganpati temple. Bahman ghal is a small sevtion of the rocky stretch of the beach where a gorge has formed due to continous gradation of the rocks. Its is nice place for geologists. The temple is Carved in white stone beleived to be from the Kashmir region the idol is 3 feet high with ten hands, hence the name is given as “Dasbhuja Ganpati”. the entire area is well maintained with good roads till the temple And temple is tiled surroundings.

Velneshwar Temple and Beach are located in Ratnagiri district. It is about 72 km away from ganpati pule. Sri Velneshwar Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and his consort Goddess Parvati. It Representing an example of ancient Hindu architectural style, the temple has many small idols dedicated to Lord Vishnu, Ganesha and Kala Bhairav. The main hall or Garb of the temple is adorned with paintings and stone carvings representing various stories. This temple is croweded by a large number of devotees during the festival of Mahashivratri. It is held in the month of March and celebrated in honour of shiva Another attraction of Velneshwar is the Velneshwar Beach which is fully linnned with coconut trees. This is one of the most prominent and cleanest beaches in the entire Konkan. This beach is famous for its location and also the peaceful surroundings. The beach has humid climate and throughout the type sea waves are normal throughout the year and this is the type of ideal beach for swimming and sunbathing. Water sports activities are carried out here.
